Since losing 5-0 at home to the Blues, Boro have drawn at Blackburn and beaten Manchester City. "The lads are confident and there are a lot of smiling faces in the dressing room," said Downing. "We´ve had our first downer against Chelsea and we´ve bounced back really well, so if we can get a result on Saturday it can push us up the league." Boro will be without centre-back Robert Huth and midfielder Mohamed Shawky for tomorrow´s game at the Riverside but Mido and Justin Hoyte both trained on Friday and are in contention for the squad. Hoyte said: "Hopefully I´ll be involved in the squad. The team have been playing well so I don´t expect to start the game but I´d like to be involved. "I´ll get my chance and when I get my chance I´ll take it and hopefully stay in the team." ![]() ![]() ![]() |
